NBA Live 97 (PS1) (Bulls vs Celtics) (March 11th 1997)

Not much to say here. The Bulls head to Boston on March 11th for their third game against the Boston Celtics. Oh, I almost forgot, Chicago and Utah have clinched a spot in the 1997 Playoffs! If you're wondering how the Jazz's players reacted to this, I have the story planned out. Partially. After the Utah Jazz defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 9th in the Target Center, their coach Jerry announced to the team that he received confirmation from NBA HQ that the Jazz have earned a spot in the 1997 Playoffs. Nolan Owens, Bryon Russell, John Stockton, Jeff Hornacek, Ruben Nembhard Sr., Antoine Carr and Shandon Anderson were the Jazz players who were most excited about the news, but the one player who was not too enthusiastic was Trent Grazer, who is still tormented by his doubts that the Jazz value Nolan more than him, when they should be used in tandem. When the sports media interviewed Nolan, he expressed his enthusiasm over getting into the Playoffs in his rookie year, and the possibility of becoming a rookie champion along with fellow rookies Shandon and Ruben. When asked how does he feel about the Jazz franchise not relying on Major Razor so much, as he has played in less games than in his rookie year with the Supersonics, Nolan said that he was concerned at first, but he has a hunch that the Jazz have a plan in mind for the both of them, especially when they get to the Finals. Fun fact: Michael Jordan passed John Havlicek for 6th place on the NBA All-Time Scoring List during this game in real life, behind Oscar Robertson, Elvin Hayes, Moses Malone, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
