Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Crossroads of Time (GEN/MD) [1/3]

Well here's something I didn't expect to upload. A Star Trek game, and a longplay of it! So here's a game that's probably faded into the obscurity of gaming, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Crossroads of Time. It was actually my sister who picked this one up when it first came out, being the huge Trekkie she was. Unfortunately for us, we were both terrible at it and never managed to get far (yay for death jumps in the grenade-disposal stage, the FIRST major stage of the game). And I don't forget games I haven't beaten (at least in the 16-bit era - I will not be beaten!), so I gave it another go, and aside from some severe design flaws, I found myself entertained by it. Plus the soundtrack is surprisingly pretty darn good at times, when a lot of games we rented for the system had mediocre, bland, lifeless and forgettable soundtracks (much like the games themselves since I can't remember their names, lol). Certain tracks definitely went unheard in the gaming community, one of the reasons I uploaded this. It was originally released for the Mega Drive/Genesis, and soon got a SNES port, which the original game designer apologizes to anyone who played that version. I'm not making that up: "The Super Nintendo version was a 'port' of the Genesis version, and a very poor port at that! My apologies to anyone who played it!" - Maurice Molyneaux, Lead Design [http://molyneaux.tripod.com/mm-ds9.htm] Considering the differences between the Genesis and SNES versions of the game, as most of the levels bear NO resemblance to the other, and that no one's uploaded the full Genesis/Mega Drive version, I figured this deserves an upload. As usual, no requests, no asking for files, or questions not related to the game or gameplay itself. These "which version of ? did you use for" questions are getting annoying.
