BATAVIA Truck rollover still causing traffic delays at this hour The City of Batavia is continuing to ask motorist to avoid travel near the intersection of Main and Oak street at his hour. Clean up of an accident involving an overturned tractor trailer at the intersection is causing the delays. At about 2:00 p.m. a tractor trailer heading south on Rt. 98 attempted to turn east onto Main street and overturned, spilling a full load of wheat germ. Fuel tanks on the truck were also ripped open and diesel fuel was also leaking. The driver of the truck was not injured. Baskin Farms owns the vehicle and helped in the clean up efforts. The City of Batavia Fire Department was able to contain the fuel leak and the wheat germ has been off loaded to another vehicle. Traffic in the area is congested and the City has requested that motorist use other routes.
