Check out our Cleveland weather forecast from 3News Meteorologist Jason Mikell: We continue with another night of bitterly cold air across Cleveland and Northeast Ohio folks. Because of the northerly wind component and very slightly warmer surface lake temperature, we'll likely keep with the periodic lake effect flurries or snow showers but any accumulations will remain minor. Now for the upcoming holiday weekend storm system... An area of low pressure will dive south out of Canada and bring heavy snow to portions of the Midwest with up to a foot expected in Iowa and southern Minnesota. This low will then swing down towards the Gulf of Mexico riding along a pretty interesting trough where it will pick up additional moisture and begin it's trek northeastward up the spine of the Appalachian Mountains. Snow and ice will be a major problem for the Carolinas while it's all snow on the western side of this system as it moves up the eastern seaboard. READ: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/...
