I interviewed Joe in 2001 for my documentary "The Pink Floyd & Syd Barrett Story ". Joe takes us on a wonderful journey through his encounters with Pink Floyd, including recording their first record , 'Arnold Layne' and running the famous UFO Club where Pink Floyd were the resident band for a few heady months from Dec 1966 to June 1967. To Joe, Syd Barrett was the creative genius without whom Pink Floyd would never have emerged as such a distinctive band.
