McNeil forces OT with buzzer-beater; wins it for Tigers in double OT

With 4.9 seconds left Tuesday night (March 4) and Ripon trailing Campbellsport by three points, Shannon McNeil took an inbounds pass, dribbled it up the court and released a running 3-pointer from the top of the key to force overtime. She later won the regional quarterfinal contest for the Tigers in double overtime with a layup with 13.2 seconds left. It was the second buzzer-beater by a Ripon High School basketball team in three days, as the boys won the regional title on a 3-pointer at the buzzer March 1.
