#indvseng #rohitsharma #viratkohli After an impressive win over England in the T20 series, Rohit Sharma and co have their eyes on the ODI series. All eyes will be on out of form Virat Kohli in the India vs England first ODI at the Oval on Tuesday. He will bat in his preferred number three position as well. India will field a strong Playing XI with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami set to share the new ball in the opening game of the series against Jos Buttler and co. The Men in Blue skipper Rohit Sharma will open the innings alongside Shikhar Dhawan, who has been scoring runs consistently for India in the ODI format. However, the pressure is just piling on Virat Kohli to come up with a good score. His string of poor scores is a case of concern for the team management. When it comes to the batting order, players just pick themselves. Suryakumar Yadav will be picked ahead of Shreyas Iyer. He has made the middle order and number four his own with a scintillating hundred in the third T20 on Sunday. Out-of-form batter Virat Kohli is likely to miss the first ODI against England at the Oval on Tuesday after sustaining a groin strain during the third T20 International. The extent of Kohli's niggle is still not known, but the Indian team management wouldn't mind giving the 33-year-old veteran a break so that he is available for the next two games at Lord's (July 14) and Manchester (July 17). "Virat has a groin strain during the last game. It can't be confirmed whether it happened during fielding or while batting. He will probably miss the first ODI tomorrow at Oval as the groin needs rest," a BCCI source told PTI on condition of anonymity. READ ALSO India Possible Playing XI vs ENG 1st ODI: 1.
