My recap of the TAKE ME HOME TOUR: July 19, 2013 (the day of the concert), my sister (Sienna's) friend Jasmine was on her way to our house to get ready to go stalking for One Direction. We got all ready and left and got to their hotel at 11:30 am. There were rumors going around between KC Directioners of which hotel they were staying at. We got to their official one that I knew from the beginning. When we got there, there was one tour bus but it wasn't theirs. We waited in the bathroom and decided on what to do. Finally, Jasmine checked twitter and said fans met them at this other hotel. So we went to our car and drove to that one. When we drove past the 2nd hotel, we saw 2 tour buses so we parked and walked up to the hotel. By the time we got there, they were gone. So we waited in the lobby to cool down. It was extremely hot. The hotel lobby security was actually very nice. They offered us water and talked to us. Then after that we decided to go to Sprint Center where the concert was. We got there and found lots of fans waiting in the back by the loading dock where the tour buses enter and exit. We saw One Direction's drummer, Josh, as we were getting ready to park. We walked over and found some of my other friends sitting down so we talked to them. We heard fans met Harry outside this different hotel and he was the only one that was there. We didn't think they would be staying at that hotel but Harry was just there. So after we talked to my friends, we went over to the box office to try to get a ticket for Jasmine because she didn't have one. We waited around for about 2 hours. One of my other friends and her friends who were actually staying on the same floor as One Direction at their hotel came and asked if we knew someone who needed an extra ticket. So they sold their extra one to Jasmine. After that we got hungry and bored so we walked over to Burger King to get food and charge our phones. We were in there for about 2 hours. I saw one of my friends walk across the street so I texted her and told her to come back inside and we all met up. A little bit later, Rizzloe Jones (A contestant who was a freestyle rapper on X Factor Season 2) walked in to Burger King. We took pictures with him and talked to him for a little bit. There were girls who were staring at us wondering why we were taking pictures with a "random person" so that was funny. Then a band member from 5 Seconds of Summer tweeted about how Starbucks finally spelled Callum's name right. So we all walked over to Starbucks and no one was there. We walked around there for a little bit but we still didn't see anybody so we went to Cosentino's - The market across the street from The Midland Theater venue and waited inside there for an hour. Finally about 5:30 pm, we decided to walk back to Sprint Center and when we got there, there were SO many people waiting to get inside. It was hot and it was horrible! I met up with a couple friends and talked with them for a little bit. Doors were supposed to open at 6:00 pm. Instead they opened at like 6:30 pm. We waited in a huge crowd for one hour. It felt like it took forever to get in. The concert started at about 7:40 pm. Sienna, Jasmine and I got into the venue at 7:15 pm and went straight to our seats. I was so excited to see 5 Seconds Of Summer and they killed it on stage! I loved their performance so much, it was a great experience to get to see them perform! During intermission, there was a guy who was just letting lose and dancing his little heart out in his seat, the crowd cheered for him so much. Then lots of people started screaming and waving to someone at the top of the venue, we never found out who it was. Maybe a member of 1D??? Then finally they came out on stage. Kansas City was SUPER loud and it was an awesome time. I am not a Directioner nor don't really like One Direction either. I wore my Justin Bieber shirt to the concert. I will say though, 1D does put on an excellent show. I knew a few songs and they were really amazing! Niall said it's been one of their favorite shows on the tour and they would come back. Harry told really funny jokes and it was a great time. After the concert, we met a couple of my friends outside and began our stalking again. We got stuck in traffic then went to the hotel fans met Harry at, no one was there. Then as we were leaving, we saw on twitter that fans met 1D at a gas station. We literally passed that gas station just right after they left so we just missed them! We went to their official hotel and no one was there yet either so we decided to go home. We took a quick pit stop at Sonic then went home. Overall, the concert was a great experience and so much fun!
