StormTrack 8 Evening Forecast for Wednesday July 17

Hi, this is Terry Swails . . . 'WHEW'midity The Midwest will continue to bake under the hot summer sun through the end of the work week. Highs in the 90s combined with dew points in the low to mid 70s will produce heat index values of 98 to 104 degrees each day. This will make it extremely challenging to the body and thus a Heat Advisory has been posted through Friday. Scattered cumulus clouds will pop up again during the heat of the day, but given the warm air aloft chance for a sprinkle or shower is slim at best once again. Fortunately, the countdown in temporarily ending this heat wave is in sight. A frontal boundary will slide across the area later Friday carrying a few showers and thunderstorms along it. This will also carry some very nice refreshing air by the weekend with highs expected in the lower 80s! Can't wait!!
