WHO to launch COVID-19 treatment trial
The World Health Organisation is about to launch a major trial in pursuit of a treatment for the coronavirus. Officials are testing four of the most promising drugs on patients in Norway. A combination of malaria medications and anti-viral drugs used to treat HIV will be included in the trial. The World Health Organisation says a vaccine may be 12 to 18 months away.
