At just over twenty, it marked the beginning of a personal journey into the sonic world of Johann Sebastian Bach’s English Suites. A way to approach Bach without seeking conclusions — letting the music unfold on its own, across instruments, time, and possibilities. A modern piano that does not imitate, not recreate an ancient sound, nor claim a definitive truth — but listens, responds, and breathes, with attention to gestures, breath, and the silences implied. Perhaps the only goal was to discover what might happen when we simply listen. A poco più di vent’anni, era l’esordio di un percorso personale nel mondo sonoro delle English Suites di Johann Sebastian Bach. Un modo per avvicinarsi a Bach senza cercare conferme, ma lasciando che la musica si aprisse da sé, tra strumenti, tempi e possibilità. Un pianoforte moderno che non imita, non riproduce un suono antico, né afferma una verità interpretativa — ma che ascolta, risponde, respira, con attenzione ai gesti, ai respiri, ai silenzi impliciti. Forse l’unico obiettivo era scoprire cosa poteva accadere, semplicemente, mettendosi in ascolto.
