Urban Sketching at the Market Using Copic Marker, Fountain Pen & Watercolor

Urban Sketching using a combination fountain pen and watercolour is rapidly gaining popularity. However combining the two with alcohol marker is a unique technique I am developing. The Sailor Fude De Mannen pen is one of the most popular among Urban Sketchers. As Inktober has just concluded, I thought I could share this mixed media sketch that uses Copic ink and Carbon ink. I am a regular urban sketcher, actively involved with Urbansketchers Mumbai chapter. I love sketching outdoors using a line and wash watercolor technique. My technique relies upon identifying big shapes and gently building values. I upload full-length watercolour tutorials on Skillshare.
