Training with a power meter will help you to become a better and stronger rider. I use a stages power meter for training and when out on rides, it helps you to understand the situation and build up a picture of whats happening within a group of riders. If you use your power meter properly you will be able to put a big gap between riders and split up packs. You still have to be able to push some high watts but that all comes down to how hard you want to train. If you have a power meter on your bike it's like having a personal trainer out with you all the time. Become at cycling and train with power and learn to push more watts. You should consult your Doctor before doing any strenuous exercise or workout, if you have any dizziness or pain you should stop immediately, you do this workout at your own risk.
