I Joseph Gregory Pagac travel from theme park to theme park evaluating them on Themeing, Cleanliness, Guest Relations, and Entertainment. Why? Because I am The Theme Park Evaluator. This is a preview of Love At First Fright for 2017, and recorded on 09242017. Before I start this evaluation I want to make it perfectly clear, Love At First Fright has been my 2nd favorite theme park show for 16 years. It has great music, wonderful pop culture references that change each year. This has kept the show fresh and truly hilarious. Sadly this year something has happened to the show. There is a joke that runs the entire length of the show, (I won't state the joke here, but you'll hear and see it quickly.) This joke is for the most part unfunny, and not relevant to current pop culture. In all truthfulness, most of the pop culture references fall flat because they are either not relevant anymore, are not funny, or are so vague that the joke flies over most of the audience's heads. The singing is passable, but it lacks the energy of pasts versions. Megan and David as Witchie and Dracula are wonderful in their parts. Megan has a kind take on a dictator who wants to take out the brain of someone to make Frankie a better lifeform. David brings charm and charisma to what is otherwise a lowly lackey position. The show is still fun, and energetic, however the main issue lies with the one longwinded running joke. I hope you enjoy the video and if you do then please Like, Comment, and Subscribe.
