The hunt for the elusive Morel mushroom, whether in the natural forest or one that's had a wildfire! Where to find them, and how to cook them from forest to table. It's just our way of life here at the Eliguk Outpost. A place so remote that most visitors have to fly in by float plane or venture in for hours by quad or snow machine. This month we are focusing on long term food storage with harvesting Morels. They are in abundance within this area of British Columbia we saw the largest forest fires over the span of 2 years.
