AWN Thursday 4/2/26 Late Morning Statewide Forecast Update from Drew McCombs

We're staying warm and mostly dry today with highs in the mid to upper 80s across Alabama. A few isolated showers are possible, but most areas will see plenty of sunshine mixed with some clouds. The Easter weekend front arrives Saturday evening in northwest Alabama, spreading rain and storms across the state Saturday night into Sunday morning. South Alabama will see rain lingering into Sunday morning before clearing out by afternoon. The severe weather risk looks very low with this system. Behind the front, we're looking at gorgeous weather for next week! Highs in the 70s, lots of sunshine, and noticeably less humid air moving in.
