The Korean Air Livery: The Current Livery of Korean Air was Unveiled and Introduced on March 1,1984 and the Airline's Name was Changed from Korean Air Lines to Korean Air. This Prestigious Livery Features the Blue Top, The Silver in the Middle, and the White on the Lower Part of the Fuselage along with the Enlarged Corporate"Korean Air"Logo Featuring the Stylized Symbol of the Taeguk Design that was first Unveiled on its Fokker F28 Aircraft.This Livery was Designed in Cooperation Between Korean Air and Boeing And has been this Airline's Signature Trademark Livery Look Ever Since 1984. The"Skyteam"Logo: Korean Air Became a member of the Skyteam Alliance Along with Aeromexico, Air France, and Delta as one of the Four Founding Members on June 22,2000 Which Consists of 20 Airline Members from Five Inhabited Continents. The Korean Writing: The Korean Writing Literally means"Daehanminguk"which means "South Korea". The Korean Air Logo(That's Displayed on the Name Title at the Front of the Fuselage, The Engines, and the Tail): This Logo is Called a "Taeguk"that Literally means"The Absolute" From Which All Things and Values are Derived from, Including the Representation Of All Forms of Humanity, Combined with a Connotation of Perfect Harmony in Nature. It is Also the Same Symbol that is Displayed in the Center of the Country's Flag that has Become the National Symbol of South Korea. The Engines: These are the General Electric GE90-115B Engines that Korean Air Uses On this Particular Aircraft, The B777-300ER. The"Boeing 777-300ER"Decal: Korean Air is One of a Handful of Operators to Acquire this Aircraft, Receiving their Very First One,Which Beared the Registration Ship # HL-7782 on May 27,2009.Korean Air Has Ordered a Total of 30 B777-300ER's to Add to their Fleet in which 20 of these are Currently Operating in Service,While the Remaining 10 are Awaiting Delivery as those are on back order. Registration Ship # HL-8275: This is Korean Air's 12th B777-300ER to Enter their Fleet and the First Test Flight on this Aircraft Took Place on May 24,2013 and was Delivered to Korean Air on June 11,2013.This Aircraft was Eventually Painted in the "Children's Drawing Contest"Special Colours Livery in October 2016.
