1966 mustang with global west Wilwood 6 piston 13 inch big brake kit 50 to 0 brake test

Global west 1964-66 Mustang 13 Inch Disc Brake Conversion Kit # c5f-6466-13-6 brake test from 50 to zero Rear brakes are Wilwood 4 piston disc I believe its an 11.5 or 12" rotor The master cylinder is Wilwood 1" bore with prop valve Temp: 75f Wheel: 17x8 Power assist: NO full manual Front tire: Pilot Super sport at wear marks Rear tire: Pilot Super Sport 50% life left Road: Dry average clean suspension: 650 rate front springs with global west neg roll upper A arm, tubular lower A arm, Maier racing custom valved Bilstein shocks First cone is attempted zero Estimated stopping distance 50 to 60ft This was an attempt to estimate the stopping distance of this system in a real world enviroment. The largest source of error is the distance of the car from the 1st cone when brakes are applied. I am quite happy with this brake setup with the Michelin PSS. The drums in the back with SSBC 11.5" 4 piston disc upfront became totally unacceptable requiring massive pedal effort and fade at the last 10 to 15 mph (they did fine with 14" wheels and cooper cobra tires. Switching to this system made a huge improvement. Its totally worth the cash.
