Leopard Rescued From Well in Eastern India

(13 Dec 2017) A fully grown female leopard was rescued from a deep well that it had fallen into near a residential area in eastern India on Wednesday. Bijoy Gogoi, a veterinarian, went into the well using a ladder and helped bring the tranquilised leopard out. The rescued leopard was then taken to the state zoological park in Gauhati.
