Tool introduced to help cities better allocate fire-prevention and rescue resources

After a nearly 120 per cent spike in fire-related deaths in B.C. during the pandemic, a new tool is being introduced in hopes of saving lives: a new community dashboard to help identify which areas need more fire-prevention and rescue resources. But as Meera Bains explains, there's concern the province's tools may not reach vulnerable British Columbians
