Classic TV Theme: The Monroes (David Rose)

'The Monroes' was filmed in the Grand Tetons, and its stunning visuals were the main attraction of this Western about a family of orphans trying to survive. But as the show went on there was more time spent on soundstages and less in the picturesque wilderness. The show only lasted one season. It had a theme by old pro David Rose, which sounds a little bland in the opening titles but sounds much more imposing in the end credits. Maybe they should have switched the two versions around.
