In this video, we bring you three delightful Janmashtami bhog recipes that are sure to delight your taste buds and fill your home with the divine aroma of devotion. Whether you're celebrating Krishna Janmashtami at home or simply looking to savor these traditional dishes, our easy-to-follow recipes and step-by-step instructions will make it a breeze. Dhaniya Panjiri Recipe - Ingredients - 1 cup whole dry coriander 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 cup lotus seeds (makhana) 1 tbsp almond flakes 1 tbsp cashews 1 tbsp raisins 1 tbsp edible gum (gond) 1/4 cup grated dry coconut 1 tsp carom seeds 1/2 tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp Ghee Method - Heat a tsp ghee in a pan, add dry coriander seeds, roast on low flame for 3-4 minutes, take them out and let them cool. Heat a spoon ghee in a pan, add almonds, roast for 30 seconds, add cashews and roast for 10-20 seconds, add raisins and roast for few seconds, add grated coconut and roast for few seconds on low flame, switch off the flame, add carom seeds and roast for few seconds. Take out all roasted nuts in a plate. Heat a spoon ghee in a pan, add lotus seeds, roast for 2-3 minutes on low flame and take them out in a plate. Heat a spoon ghee and roast edible gum on low flame till they puffed nicely. Now add roasted dry coriander seeds in a mixer jar and grind, prepare a fine powder, transfer in a plate, mix all roasted nuts, lotus seeds, cardamom powder, sugar powder and mix nicely. dhaniya panjiri is ready for prasad. Garnish with an Indian holy basil. Jai Shree Krishna !! Panchamrit Ingredients- 1 cup raw milk (kachha doodh) 1/2 cup fresh curd 1/4 cup sugar 1/8 cup honey (shahad) 1 tbsp pure ghee Method: Add milk and sugar in a bowl, mix till sugar dissolves properly. Add curd, honey, pure ghee in milk-sugar mixture. Mix all ingredients nicely. Panchamrut is ready to serve god. Add tulsi patta before serving. Meva paag- Ingredients - 1 cup sugar (250g) 1 cup fox nuts (lotus seeds/ makhana) 1/2 cup chopped dry coconut 1/2 cup grated dry coconut 10-12 chopped almonds 10-12 chopped cashews 1 tbsp raisins (kishmish) 1 tbsp pistachio flakes 1/2 tsp cardamom powder 1 tsp ghee (clarified butter) Method – Add 1 tsp ghee and roast fox nuts (lotus seeds) on low flame. Transfer in a plate. Add cashews, almonds and dry roast. Add chopped dry coconut and grated dry coconut, roast on low flame. Switch off the flame and add raisins. Transfer in a plate. Add sugar and 50ml water. Prepare one thread sugar syrup. Add roasted dry fruits, cardamom powder in sugar syrup and mix. I have lined a 5inch cake tin with a butter paper. Pour in mould and flatten it. Sprinkle pistachio flakes. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Demold and cut in squares with a sharp knife. Wow!! dry fruit fudge is ready!!
