Did Jacob really struggle with God? Can a man see God's face?

One of the most intriguing stories in the Bible is in Genesis 32, which tells of Jacob's struggle with a Divine being. But who was this divine being? And why did Jacob have to fight with him? To accept Jesus as our savior we need to recognize that we are weak, sinners, and that we need Him in our moments of suffering and anguish to give us comfort and peace to face the difficulties of our life on earth. When we accept Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross, our story changes: We are no longer condemned to an eternity without God, instead we are called His children and become part of His Heavenly Kingdom. Those who accept Jesus must obey His teachings and choose to live a life of obedience. We are only truly happy when we receive God's love through Jesus Christ!
