Snow plough STORYLINE: Snow ploughs worked overtime on Sunday after a two-day winter storm left some parts of the US state of Ohio covered with 20 inches (51 cm) of snow. Ohio authorities have blamed at least five deaths on the storm. Four men collapsed and died after shovelling snow, and another person was killed in a traffic accident. The winter storm buried in the city of Columbus and parts of Ohio, closing highways and stranding travellers at airports. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport reopened on Saturday but saw heavy delays. Ohio governor Ted Strickland said almost 2,000 crashes had been reported to the Highway Patrol. The storm, which rolled in on Friday, centred on Columbus, breaking the city's previous record of 15.3 inches of snow set in February 1910, the National Weather Service said. "This is one of the worst snow falls I've seen in 16 years, but what are you going to do? Move it out of the way," one city resident, Jeff Gonivi told AP Television. A warm up was not expected until Tuesday, the weather service said.
