Bihar Politics | Ravi Shankar Prasad | BJP MP briefs media | Bihar Political Crisis | English News Ravi Shankar Prasad, a leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a former government minister, criticised Nitish Kumar on Tuesday, telling him to keep in mind the reasons he chose to leave the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in 2015. Speaking at a news conference in Patna, Prasad said that despite the JD(U) receiving less seats than the BJP, it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who appointed him as Chief Minister of Bihar. "You are disparaging the Bihari people's decision. You now assert that the BJP, which helped you become the CM, is planning to split your party. Why do you want Bihar to be in the dark, afraid, and uncertain?" stated Prasad.
