New Muslim Crash Course Ep 1: Introduction

In this video we introduce our New Muslim Crash Course in which we will be giving advice to individuals who have accepted islam, from the perspective of someone who has accepted Islam in the context of being a new Muslim in the United States. Most content for New Muslims is created by individuals who did not live our experience. Often times the material, or groups producing the material for New Muslims are doing so for the purpose of recruiting us to their specific group or ideology. The idea behind this course is not to call you to any specific group, but to give you the tools to navigate the community and to understand the fundamentals of Islam so that you may chart your own path. in the New Muslim Crash Course, we will cover the following topics in depth. 1. The basics of your faith in Islam 2. The Muslim character 3. Navigating the Muslim Community 4. Personal Issues for New Muslims 5. How to study Islam 6. How to call others to Islam For years the needs of the converts in the United States have been neglected at best and completely ignored at worst. We can no longer sit back and complain about this problem. It is essential that we address it ourselves.
