He concluded jurors received misleading information from the prosecution during closing arguments. The judge said Wednesday that the prosecution erred when jurors were told suspect Steven Jones didn't tell police he feared for his life until after he was taken to a police station. a month ago the state filed a motion that it did not want the jury to hear and see Steven Jones sitting in cop car and crying with a bloody lip.. the state asked the judge to withold that video from jury.. jury never got to see it.. etc.. JUDGE ORDERED BOTH PROSECUTION AND DEFENSE ATTORNEYS TO WRITE UP HOW THEY CAN SALVAGE THIS CASE.. THEY COULD HAVE 60 DAYS TO BRING CHARGES BACK AGAINST JONES UNDER STATE STATUTE OR JUDGE COULD ALLOW JURY TO SEE VIDEO OF STEVEN CRYING IN COP CAR..
