In hindsight, this level really isn't that difficult. I started this level back in May 2023, directly after completing Acu (thank you for 20k views on that video btw thats crazy), and shortly dropped it a literal week later because i found it way too hard. I instead started playing Niwa, and ended as dropping that AS WELL because the gameplay was unbearably bad and unbalanced. Throughout the rest of 2023 I'd occasionally play Prismatic Haze on and off every couple weeks. At that time, I wasn't really interested in gd so i rarely played it, but in around early 2024, My brother let me use his pc whenever he was away. I used this time to play gd, since he has a good pc with a 144hz moniter, this was when I beat I NEVER DREAM. After beating that level, I started practising Prismatic Haze on his pc, but he soon kicked me off and I couldn't use his pc anymore. I think I recall getting 61% and 61-100 a bunch of times on his PC. I then quit gd for an entire year after going back to 60hz mobile and experiencing how UNFATHOMABLY unplayable 60hz is, but since that was a year ago, I'm used to 60hz again, so it's somewhat playable now. In August 2025, I picked the level up again, and beat it in 4 fucking days LMAO. swear im the goat. Now to ACTUALLY talk about the level. To start of, the robot timing at 9% and the blue orb at 10% are absolutely fucking impossible and are easily the hardest part of the predrop, idk why gizbro made it so difficult compared to everything else for no reason (im assuming gizbro did the gp). Onto the drop, I used to have so much trouble with the first blue orb at the drop, but all of the sudden it just got super easy and I could do it everytime. The level is pretty simple and fair until 34%. That yellow orb is so difficult and it never got any easier for me for some reason. The 35% wave is also complete bullshit, but got surprisingly consistent after non-stop practice. The dual yellow orb at 40% is straight up rng. I still to this day don't understand the timing, and simply guess when to press everytime i get there. The wave at 42% is also super hard surprisingly, it was very hard for me to consistently pass that wave (you can literally hear me complaining about it at the start of the completion). About 47% I kept having a bug where my ufo would hit the top spikes. I'm actually unsure if it is a bug, I'm simply assuming it is because you'd need to do a CRAZY timing to be able to prevent dying to those top spikes. I always saw the wave at 58% as extremely hard, when ever since I turned on CBF, it became INSANELY consistent and downright piss easy. Onto the "second" portion of the level; To start off, I had quite some trouble with the 73% ship, that green orb was always just super random and inconsistent in my experience, other than that, it was simply just plain hard. As shown in the video, I died to the 76% wave quite a bit. I also died there a couple more times, but they weren't recorded. Nothing specifically hard about that wave, mostly just nerves and sweaty hands causing me to mess up. The 87% short ship section always fucked me up, was just super random and I could never get it down. The ball at 89% was just plain aids but it's 6 AM and I've been up all night so I can't be bothered going into depth as to why, just know I sucked at it. Now, for unironically the hardest part of the level. The 91% ship. That first initial portion where you go up and then back down, is SO FREAKING HARD. It NEVER got consistent and I literally gave up practicing it because I could never get it down. I'm glad I never died to the last cube, that would've sucked ass. I think Prismatic Haze is a good level, great sync, banger song, deco, gp (mostly), and I overall had fun with it. I'm not sure what else to say. Level rating: 8/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Again, I apologise for not uploading for a year (for anyone that cares, which I doubt) I simply became uninterested in gd, and I don't really wanna stray my content away from gd. I want to only upload gd. I don't know when I'll make another video, but for my 17th birthday on August 26th, I'm getting a new phone (samsung s25), which supports 120hz, so maybe I'll get back into playing extremes again. Hopefully. Thank you so much for the people that read these descriptions, even though they're just for personal fun and I don't really expect people to read them.
