Video Of Coalition Airstrikes Against IS Barrack

(23 Feb 2016) The US Department of Defense has released a video of an alleged coalition airstrike that destroyed barracks of Islamic State group (also known by Arabic acronym Daesh) and vehicle checkpoint near Abu Kamal, Syria, to disrupt terrorist safe havens and freedom of movement. According to DOD, the strikes were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the operation to eliminate the Islamic State terrorist group and the threat they pose to Iraq, Syria, and the wider international community. The Department of Defense says the destruction of these Islamic State targets in Syria and Iraq further limits the group's ability to project terror and conduct operations.
