Police reallocate resources amid recent violence in Towson

The Baltimore County Police Department said its constantly reallocating resources based on crime trends, including a recent spate of violence in Towson. As the investigation into the fatal shooting of a teenager Monday night continues, police are adjusting patrols. Using data, county police said they determine the most appropriate strategy to handle any uptick in crime. The police department has what's known as the Central Police Squad that's also known as the Entertainment Squad because it patrols the Towson Circle and downtown core where restaurants and shops are located. It's the same area where the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Tre'Shaun Harmon and other recent crimes have occurred.
