Brendan Sharkey Protecting Women's Health

State leaders, including House Majority Leader Brendan Sharkey, and Planned Parenthood held a press conference to bring attention to legislation currently before Congress that would eliminate the national family planning program (Title X) and would exclude Planned Parenthood affiliates from all critical public health funding. A letter signed by several lawmakers urges U.S. Senators Lieberman and Blumenthal to oppose this measure and protect access to women's health care and women's health care centers.
