All zone types separated in Cities Skylines, can a city grow and work properly?

Have you wondered about the ratio between the different zone types? Can a city function if all the different zones are separated? Join me in this Cities Skylines experiment and let's find out. Note: no mods were used. I have all DLCs and i'm doing this using the vanilla game, although i do have the "Surface Paint" tool mod enabled (which is only cosmetic, doesn't change the game mechanics), i don't use it. Cities: Skylines is a city-building game developed by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive. The game is a single-player open-ended city-building simulation. Players engage in urban planning by controlling zoning, road placement, taxation, public services, and public transportation of an area. Players work to maintain various elements of the city, including its budget, health, employment, and pollution levels. Players are also able to maintain a city in a sandbox mode, which provides unrestricted creative freedom for the player.
