Kamakura City is located in Kanagawa Prefecture, south of Tokyo, and faces the sea. It flourished as a political center during the Kamakura period in the Middle Ages and is now a famous resort area dotted with numerous Zen temples and shrines. The most famous historical structure is the Daibutsu (Great Buddha) of Kotokuin Temple. This bronze statue stands about 13 meters tall and withstood the great tsunami of the 15th century. Yuhigahama beach on Sagami Bay is a popular surfing spot. ----- ▶︎ About 「Japanese Ambience Channel」 You can shoot videos while walking around Tokyo and other Japanese cities, giving you a real and virtual travel experience as if you were actually walking around the streets of Japan. ▶︎ Please subscribe to my channel!
