Firefighters in full hazmat gear boarded a British Airways flight from London to Egypt after it was forced to make an emergency landing in Italy when passengers and crew started feeling unwell. The plane diverted to Venice where it was met by emergency staff in full protective gear and scanning equipment. British Airways says the unexpected stop was a precaution following a technical issue and no toxic fumes were detected on board.
