Backpacking For 3 Days above 9200 feet in the Cloud Peak Wilderness

The wife and I backpacked for three days through the Cloud Peak wilderness. Located in the central, highest area of Bighorn National Forest, Cloud Peak Wilderness is a federally protected wilderness area. The wilderness is high elevation mountain meadows with mountain lakes above 10,000 feet in elevation. It took a day to fully adjust to the elevation changes, but the beauty of the region made it worth while. Enjoy!
