Welcome to our daily encounter with the Word of God! Today we reflect on the day’s readings from the Book of the Prophet Zechariah (Zechariah 12:10-11; 13:1), the Letter of Saint Paul to the Galatians (Galatians 3:26-29), and the Gospel according to Luke (Luke 9:18-24). These passages lead us to a deeper understanding of Christ’s identity, our unity in Him, and the true call to discipleship. First Reading (Zechariah 12:10-11; 13:1): The prophet Zechariah speaks of a time of grace and repentance: the people will look upon the one they have pierced and mourn deeply. A fountain will be opened to cleanse from sin and impurity. This prophecy is fulfilled in Christ crucified, who offers redemption through His sacrifice. This passage invites us to contemplate the mystery of the Cross, where we encounter the mercy and transformation that come from God. Second Reading (Galatians 3:26-29): Saint Paul reminds us that through baptism, we are all children of God in Christ Jesus. There is no longer Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female—we are all one in Christ. This is a powerful message of unity and spiritual equality. We are called to live our Christian identity with joy, knowing we belong to one spiritual family. Gospel (Luke 9:18-24): Jesus asks His disciples, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answers, “The Christ of God.” Jesus then reveals His coming suffering, death, and resurrection, and makes a strong call: whoever wants to follow Him must deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Him. This message challenges us to live an authentic faith, embracing sacrifice for the love of Christ, who is the way to true life. Reflection and Call to Conversion Today’s readings invite us to recognize Jesus as the Savior, live in the unity of His Body, and take up our cross with faith. May His example of love and sacrifice guide us on our journey. Share in the comments what it means to you to say, “You are the Christ of God.” 📖 Readings of the Day: First Reading: Zechariah 12:10-11; 13:1 Second Reading: Galatians 3:26-29 Gospel: Luke 9:18-24 🌟 Related Hashtags: #BibleReading #DailyGospel #ChristianReflection #ChristOfGod #UnityInChrist #TakeUpYourCross #CatholicBible 💡 Become a member and receive exclusive perks: / @bibliacatolica 📲 Follow us on social media: TikTok: / bibliacatolicaonline Instagram: / bibliacatolica Telegram: https://t.me/bibliacatolicaonline Twitter: / bibliacatolica Facebook: https://fb.me/bibliacatolicaonline/ Pinterest: / bibliacatolica
