From the Manger to the Cross: The Divine Plan Behind Christmas, Shared with You Today! Brothers and sisters, as the songs of Christmas praise ring out again, do we truly understand the real meaning of Christmas? The Bible says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us.” (John 1:14). This is not just a beautiful phrase—it is the most astonishing truth in all creation: God Himself became human! God did not remain distant, watching from afar; He entered our world, stepping into our pain, our weakness, and our hopes. As Matthew 1:23 says, “They shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”. His coming was not simply to give us a holiday, but to grant us salvation, light, and new life. He was born in a manger, humble and hidden, to ultimately walk the path to the cross; He became the atoning sacrifice to redeem all humanity from the hands of Satan, bringing humanity into the era of grace. As we gather with family, meet in church, or rejoice together outdoors, as we sing, dance, and pray, may our hearts understand: Christmas is not only a celebration, but also a time to give thanks for God’s immense love and salvation. 👉 Let us sincerely thank God, who became flesh!
