Disneyland celebrates its 66th birthday on July 17, 2021 with a cavalcade, mini-parade featuring Mickey Mouse aboard the Main Street Fire Engine, Disneyland marching band, characters on the double-decker Omnibus and more characters parading through Disneyland's Main Street, U.S.A. The celebratory moment also includes an audio replaying of Walt Disney’s famous opening-day “To all who come to this happy place, welcome” dedication speech from July 17, 1955; plus the Disneyland band performing the “Happy Birthday” song, “Indiana Jones” theme, “Grim Grinning Ghosts” from The Haunted Mansion and the “Fantasmic!” finale music. Disney characters taking part in the cavalcade include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip-n-Dale, Mulan, Alice, Moana, Cruella de Vil from “101 Dalmatians,” Princess Aurora from “Sleeping Beauty,” Princess Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog"; Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and the Genie from “Aladdin”; Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from "Tangled"; and Peter Pan, Wendy and Captain Hook from “Peter Pan.” Disneyland in Anaheim, California, usually only holds a major anniversary ceremony for significant milestone years that end with a zero or five. So, the next major anniversary year for Disneyland will be its 70th birthday on July 17, 2025. — Recorded by Theme Park Times on July 17, 2021. — Subscribe, like and follow Theme Park Times for news, photos and videos: / themeparktimes www.Facebook.com/ThemeParkTimes www.Instagram.com/ThemeParkTimes www.Twitter.com/ThemeParkTimes #Disneyland #Disneyland66 #DisneyParks #Disneyland66th #DisneylandResort #HappyBirthdayDisneyland #WaltDisney #Disneyland2021#DisneylandReopening #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure #Disney #BackToTheMagic #MagicIsHere #TheMagicIsBack #MagicIsBack #AmusementPark #ThemePark #TodayInHistory Copyright 2021 Theme Park Times
