Texas shooter in shopping centre leaves nine dead and seven injured

At least nine people have been killed and seven others injured in a shooting at a shopping mall in the US state of Texas. Hundreds of shoppers were sent fleeing when the gunman opened fire at the outlet mall in Allen, while authorities say eight people are being treated in hospital.
