Iftar at Old City Karachi Al Rehman Biryani

#MeinFoodie #StreetFood #Ramadan2022 Ramzan is almost over, that went fast (pun intended) 😋This time we went for Iftar to the oldest area of Karachi - Kharader. Kharadar and the adjacent communities of Mithadar and Jodia Bazaar form the original core of Karachi. The neighbourhood was named after one of the gates to the old city of Karachi built in 1729! The area is known for its large community of Ismaili traders who originally settled in Kharadar coming from Kutch, Kathiawar in Gujurat in the 16th and 17th centuries. Food tour kiya, bohut food stalls thay. From falsa juice to bun kabab to biryani... you name it and it was there. We got Khaja mithai traditional mithai and had Al Rehman biryani.
