Statics: Sliding versus Tipping Example

Sliding versus Tipping Example: When pushing on an object, the object could slide or tips. Whether the tiping or sliding occurs first depends on coefficient of static friction, and the geometry of the object. To determine whether the tipping or sliding occur first, we need to determine the force it takes to slide and the force it takes to tip the object separately, whichever is lower determined what occurs first.
