One of the new cars in Forza Horizon 5 is the Forsberg Racing Toyota Camry Stock Car, which is basically a NASCAR vehicle, so I thought why not build a suitable track for it with the custom blueprint builder? Here you can see a 20 lap race vs AI on my custom oval circuit in the Mexican desert with some awesome music from NASCAR 98, one of the racing games of my childhood. Timeline: 0:00 Loading the track at Bahia de Plano Circuit 0:55 20 laps of NASCAR racing with Mark Martin's #6 Ford Camry The track can be found at the Bahia de Plano road racing event in the desert. Here are the share codes for 5 different events that I have created for it: 177 646 324 - Nascar only (10 laps) 108 541 943 - Nascar only (20 laps) 837 836 133 - Nascar only (50 laps) 185 374 205 - Anything goes (10 laps) 374 232 830 - Anything goes (20 laps) Sadly you can't share more than 5 custom blueprints at once per location. If I swap out some events in the future I will update the share codes here. Let me know if there are any particular events that you would like to see for the track. Unfortunately the AI is rather slow on the track, even on Unbeatable, so you won't be able to have close battles with it but I guess racing through the traffic and trying to do clean overtakes can be fun as well. And of course you can always invite your friends for a race. I saw that a few other people have already built some amazing custom tracks as well (including a NASCAR track and several F1 circuits) but most of them have the issue that you can't actually do proper multi-lap races on them, since custom tracks need to use the start/finish line of an existing race event. Thankfully I was able to find a starting location with enough free space around it to be able to fit this oval circuit exactly around the start/finish area. It took me more than 8 hours to build this track, since the blueprint builder in FH5 is very user-unfriendly. I had to manually move every single small object into its precise position, since connected objects don't snap together like they do in Dirt 5. Even then I still wasn't able to make everything line up perfectly, so unfortunately there are a few small bumps in certain spots. And sadly the racing line for the AI isn't perfect either but there is nothing that I can do about that now. Hopefully in the future the devs will make it possible to edit existing custom tracks, so that you can make some small tweaks after the fact or set a new racing line without having to rebuild everything from scratch. And also to allow people to work on complicated tracks across multiple sessions instead of having to build everything in one go. Until that happens this will probably be my only major custom track, since I would like to keep my sanity. Hopefully some people will be able to have a bit of fun with this one though. :)
