Received a report on installation of security cameras at the warehouse. Received a report on the US Postal Service and ongoing concerns with Vote By Mail and consistent issuance of postmarks on returned ballots. Received a report on Early Voting participation and Vote By Mail ahead of the Feb. 28 Municipal Election in the 4th Ward. Received reports on Pre-Election Logic and Accuracy testing on the voting equipment and the electronic poll books and pending deliveries of election materials to the precincts and preparations/assignments of judges and election coordinators. Received a report on the mailing to voter households in the 4th Ward advising of Early Voting, Vote By Mail and Election Day polling places for the Feb. 28 Municipal election. Received a report on the Feb. 14 voting-equipment expo conducted by the Chicago Election Board and the County Clerk's Office at the Union League Club and tentative plans to have a follow-up expo sometime in the spring. Plans to pursue a Request for Proposal for voting equipment. Received a report on how a number of election-related bills have been introduced in Springfield, and had a discussion on sharing of feedback to legislative staff. Approved the schedule, notices, agenda, procedures and related forms for the pre-election activities and post-election canvass of the results for the Feb. 28 Municipal Election in the 4th Ward. Approved a change in precinct boundaries in the 34th Ward. Received a report that precinct boundaries may need to change in other precincts to achieve the goal of having all polling place locations be fully accessible under newer (2016) standards for the Americans with Disabilities Act. Approved the transfer of an existing web-content-management contract from kdezign to ANE.
