Pakistanis celebrate Khan's expected victory; protest alleged rigging

(26 Jul 2018) Supporters of Imran Khan's Tehrik-e-Insaf party celebrated his expected election victory in Karachi on Thursday night by dancing in the street and setting off fireworks. Meanwhile, the rival Pakistan Peoples Party held a protest against alleged "election rigging". Pakistan's elections oversight body has rejected allegations by a candidate for parliament that voting in national elections was rigged, saying the polls were held in a free and fair manner.
