Month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is a symbol of Our Lord's infinite love for each one of us. It is also a time to celebrate the June Saints — Saint Anthony, Saint John and Saint Peter — who inspire us with their faith, courage and devotion. This month, we are invited to open our hearts to the love of Jesus, to trust in his mercy and to follow the example of the saints who, with their lives, show us the path to holiness and service to others. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." God, our Father,/ I offer you the whole day today:/ my prayers and works,/ my thoughts and words,/ my joys and sufferings,/ in reparation for our offenses,/ in union with the Heart of your Son, Jesus,/ who continues to offer himself to you, in the Eucharist,/ for the salvation of the world./ May the Holy Spirit, who guided Jesus,/ be my guide and my support this day/ that I may be a witness to your love./ With Mary,/ Mother of Jesus and of the Church,/ I pray especially for the intention of the Holy Father/ for this month:/ TO GROW IN COMPASSION FOR THE WORLD Let us pray / that each of us / may find comfort in our personal relationship with Jesus / and learn from his Heart / compassion for the world. / So be it. / Amen.
