The Harry S. Truman Book Award is awarded every two years to the author whose book best addresses the life or public career of Harry S. Truman. The 2010 winner was Steven Casey of the London School of Economics, and his book, "Selling the Korean War: Propaganda, Politics, and Public Opinion in the United States, 1950-1953." The Kansas City Public Library and the Truman Library Institute co-sponsored the following event, in which Casey receives his award and discusses his book.
