String height (action) is important on ukuleles. Since I do a lot of fingerpicking, my ukuleles should not have low action which makes the strings difficult to pick. However, since the action can't be raised on this ukulele I will use it mainly as a strumming instrument. In this video I talk about my Glarry UK303 zebrawood tenor ukulele. There appears to be structural problems with this ukulele, but I still feel it is playable and I actually like it. There's not much point in spending too much time and money working on a ukulele that cost less than $30, so I'm not carrying this to a repair shop or spending more time trying to fix it myself. This ukulele keeps its tuning nicely.
