I didn't have the pacify mastery so I couldn't bypass the nullify damage, but he still works pretty well for this fight if you play it right. I managed to do 50% with the decoy by playing passively before Chthon's Cunning returns. I could have done it faster if I lost the decoy sooner but this way makes it easier to solo. In theory he could solo this fight without being awakened.
