Five People in Hospital After Crash in Rio Linda
#CarAccident #RioLinda #MCI #CarCrash #VehicleAccident #News #Sacramento #SacramentoNews February 26, 2021 About 3:15 p.m., Sacramento Metro Fire and California Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle accident with rollover and possible extrication at Elkhorn Blvd and 28th St in Rio Linda. Upon arrival they found a two vehicle collision with one vehicle on its side. Extraction was not required. Paramedics requested one additional medic to the scene. Westbound Elkhorn Blvd was completely blocked. Traffic was forced to turn around and go Eastbound on Elkhorn, or Northbound on 28th St. More victims were located and another medic was requested. Additionally an MCI (Mass Casualty Incident) was declared. No one was killed. In total five patients were transported to local hospitals, all with non life-threatening injuries.
