NYC Subway: (F) Train Taking Time to Open Doors + (E) Local & (A) (C) Express Trains @ 23rd Street

Taken on 5/28/23. Footage of an R160 (F) train stopping at 23rd Street on the 8th Avenue Line and taking a while to open its doors, while an R46 (A) and R179 (C) express train pass by. Immediately after the (F), an R160 (E) train to Jamaica Center enters and stops at the station. Due to trackwork on the 6th Avenue Line, all uptown (D) and (F) trains operated via 8th Avenue through Midtown. To reduce switching delays and capacity constraints, northbound (C) trains operated express between Canal Street and 145th Street. Since the (D) was running via 8th Avenue local, they also ran local on Central Park West. Thanks for watching! Like and subscribe for more content!
